Hog saddle..... ?

I use off a BOG Deathgrip regularly and I like it a lot. It's a clamp similar to a hog saddle built onto a carbon fiber tripod that doesn't use a vertical stem. For hunting I believe it to be a nearly perfect solution.

I wish the clamp could be removed so the tripod could be multipurpose but it cannot. This is my only complaint.

Of course, you can always search, no one is stopping you from doing so. I am simply noting that the OP queried nearly 1.5 years ago and was pinging him on what he decided on.

For my coyote hunting rig, I wanted the Pig for the price, but went with the Hog for the weight savings.

After 3 years, I still like my choice, paired with a Leofoto tripod, & a stadium seat....
