Help with my Savage 110

Is this factory ammo your using? Have you used different ammo or 1 kind?

Untrimmed brass will stick in the chamber. Also brass that's been neck sized only, a few times with no full length sizing. And occasionally factory ammo has it's problems.

A few places to look.....

if none of those are the issue.....I would drill and tap the spent case in the primer pocket then put a long bolt or machine skrew in it. Coat it with a little jb bore past and give it a little polishing.

I will do this tonight....

But I should mention..... This "stuck" empty case, only happens after firing the round. An unfired cartridge will load and unload with ease.

.......
I think you will find that the area above the belt is where a lot of expansion occurs in the fired case, if the primary extraction work pieces are not doing their job then extraction can become very difficult, For a factory Savage I don't see this being a problem as it would be a major overlook.

Sounds like a rough chamber to me, Savage will probably hone/polish the chamber and send it back to you. When you are firing, the case expands into the rough chamber causing it to stick a bit.

After tinkering with the gun more, I am realizing that the long bolt tends to bind up in different places. Maybe some lube would help... Not sure what to do.

Had a similar problem. Polish your rifles chamber. That's what cured my 110's situation.
I had the exact same problem with a m77 ruger in 7rem... a bur at the rear of the chamber just in front of the belt was causing extraction fits... a bit of fine wet or dry did that one wonders...
