Help me identify this rifle!

My parker hale had the same stamps, if I remember right it was marked parker hale on the barrel. Same gun I'm sure. They are really nice mausers but I would have had to change so much to suit me I decided just to sell it.

I also have seen a few Parker Hales, and that is one. Unless someone decided to make a rifle up to look like one, that is...... I seem to remember they made them in a few grades too, but maybe I am just up too early.

Right decent rifles IMHO. I personally do not to go with monte carlo stocks/with cheek piece myself, but that was a fine gift. Enjoy it!

Thanks for all the comments, I have been enjoying this rifle. I am currently working on some loads that will suit my needs for elk season this year.

kinda looks like a very old Weatherby action. They first used FN actions before they came out with the MK. V action.

it could be a f.w.heym, or an f.n. as i have seen a couple that were unmaked. heym was marked under woodline, on recoil lug.
