Are the only dies I need a seating and decapping die? Do I need a neck sizing die?
You'll need a full length sizing die and a seating due. The sizing die contains the recapping pin. You might eventually choose to neck size only, but most will suggest starting with full length sizing.
Yes that will get you started. You will also need a shell holder, if I remember correctly you're loading for 7mm mag, so #4. That does not come with the dies.Ok great. Would you be able to confirm this kit as what I need? The full length sizing and seating die.

He can Neck size only too with a FL die. Just back it out until it just bumps the shoulder. TheosmithjrYou'll need a full length sizing die and a seating due. I started reloading in 1971 and currently reload for about 13 rifles and pistols . I started out with a Rock Chucker and eventually moved up to a Dillon 550 . I think a Rock Chucker is a great press for a beginner. I think that you'd be well served by getting a digital scale . I used a manual scale for years and was amazed at how much time I saved by not using a balance beam scale .You'll probably end up upgrading your gear as you get more proficient but that's part of the learning process. Good luck and have fun .Hello all,
I have decided to take the reloading route. I have never done it and have no equipment. As of now, I am only planning to reload for my 7mm rem mag.
I am looking at purchasing the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme reloading kit. I know that I need calipers and dies. Any die recommendations? Also, are the 2 dies in many of the sets all you need? Also, is an electronic powder scale a good idea over the manual scale? As in how hard is it to get accurate with the ".1, .2," etc. measurements?
Thank in advance. Excited to get into this.
Its COOL TO SE IT! TRY IT FRIEND, you'll be AMAZED! TheosmithjrI'm gonna have to try that
