My son captured a hammer trail while testing 129 absolute hammers in the 6.5ss. Loaded light with 52.5 gr h4350 on virgin brass shot about 1/2 moa at 3090 fps. My first good experience with hammers…. Worked with hammer hunter for this same rifle, a 7mm mag and a 270 win and after a few months and a few hundred hammers I gave up and started load work up on badlands bulldozers . They did cooperate better for some reason. Got all three rifles around .6 moa, but I had a lonely box of absolutes that just sat there and I couldn't handle it so here we are with another load developing. I will run a pressure ladder soon and see how fast I can get the absolutes, the 135 badlands is running 3170 so I am hopeful for 3300 from the absolutes, possibly more if you believe everything you read online
