Hammer Hunters?

The angular momentum will be higher with higher RPMs thus resisting the effect of some instability from the hanging Chad allowing more time to either complete the process or exit?
Are you saying since it's spinning really fast it won't slow down from uneven deformation?

I'm not really talking about the decay of angular momentum. I'm talking about the effects of the rate of that angular momentum when uneven deformation occurs, or rather if it occurs. As in, how it exacerbates induced instability created by it. That is, if it doesn't help overcome the uneven deformation and actually help produce even deformation.

Think of a straight drill bit spinning at high RPM vs a bent one. Spinning it faster won't make it better, unless you spin it so fast the bent portion breaks off completely leaving only a straight piece once again.

I agree but the smart @$$ comments followed up with little giggle faces do not appear to have constructive discussion in mind. I personally would like to see constructive discussions where we could help everyone cleanly take game and forget the biases but I suppose that is out of the question. I would really like not to feel that feeling when game is lost ever again.
Yeah. You get called out for being too serious, then you get called out for not being serious enough. It's a tough game.

Must be the wrong twist rate on your barrel, bad shot placement, bad batch of copper, hit some brush with the bullet after the shot, or just a crazy conspiracy.

In all seriousness though, I definitely wouldn't feel confident in your position using them on your next hunt. You raise a valid concern and it would be nice to get some good answers.

I guess in the meantime you can work on providing answers to the questions that will likely come, about the things I mentioned above. What's your twist rate? What's your muzzle velocity? Any pictures of the animals afterwards?
I think you need to learn how to track game better. I've tracked out a bunch that never left a blood trail, some of them over a mile. If an animal moves, it leaved sign unless it's in concrete, asphalt, or flat rocks.

I think you're replying to the wrong guy.

That said, I think it would be great to not need to do all that tracking 🤔

Long distance or short distance what's your choice between these two bullets….McGuire copper rose or apex afterburner.
Who are you asking? Anyone?

I just got some Copper Rose bullets in the other day. Unfortunately I doubt I'll get them tested to see how I like them for quite a while. Too much other things going on in life right now. They sure look pretty though lol.

Sir,

I track people for a living and I wouldn't make such a bold post as that. Sometimes people give up too soon, I'll admit that.

Point is, people don't want to have to track animals after they are shot if they don't have to.

I've tested a few of them and I like em
