Anyone loading for a 338 edge and hammers yet?

Hey Lance, question for you. Do you think I can effectively get by with a 300wm 9.4 twist with the 199 gr? I live at 3k' msl (load development) and hunt 4K' msl and above? I have H1000 but have been using H4831SC till now.

Second rifle, same question but for a 300 RUM with a 10 twist.

Steve is pretty dead on with his recommendations for twist rates. I would defer to him. I stick with his rate suggestions, and have not been disappointed.
Worth a try though. He has a 15 pack for testing you can buy.

I do not know. I did run them up to 44 grains but the were opening back up so I didn't see the point. Maybe someone could run it through a program and give the theoretical velocity...

He sent me some 110 HH for my 6.5 that didn't like the 123's.

Yes. IMR 4350. Only thing close to that spectrum burn rate I can lay hands on. Maybe someone has tried the 110HH's and can share...

The reason I was asking, I have the 124 and 110 to try now and I have H4350, RL16 and IMR 4166 as powders to use. I was hoping RL16 would work very well, I have 5lbs of that and only 1lb of the other two.

I run H4350 in my daughter's 6.5SLR w. 124 HHs. 43.0gr gets 2980fps in her 22" 1:8" suppressed. Crazy accurate.

I just got some of the 123 AHs, going to see how fast I can push those. I will probably try Varget or Benchmark with the 123 AH.
