Hammer Bullet Crimp

I've been setting up my Lee FCD dies the same way. Except that I put a rather visible crimp on my 458SOCOM and 45-70 ammo which both get loaded to the cannalure.

Still waiting for my 7WSM crimp die to see how that affects the groups with the 143 HH bullet.

Lee ought to send Butter Bean a stipend for all the new converts now using the FCD. Personally bought one for all my hunting rifles - 264wm, 300wm and 6.5cm (not mine - young nephews) I just need on for my 280 AI. Would one for a 280 rem work until Lee starts making customs again? Anybody?

Yep, It'll work

Thx - ordered and enroute.
G'day, was that the one shelled 7mm Express?

I ordered one as the .280ai is one that I'm trying to improve my results with.

What I read was the 7mmExpress does the .280, .280ai as the .280 was originally released the 7mm Express.

But, how does it go on the SAAMI spec .280ai. what I'm reading is the SAAMI spec is 14thou shorter than the original P.O.Ackley .280ai

I will try it but has anyone found if it needs the 14 thou taken off the bottom?
