I too have found UPS to be selective in what they will ship FROM DIFFRRENT TERMINALS. What is restricted locally may freely be shipped from another one - 60 miles away!

I gave a semi custom savage to a friend of mine in another state I don't want to name any names and in order for

Me to handload ammo and get it to him I must drive 40 miles one way past three UPS stores to a distribution hub that is the only way at least in my area that you can ship live ammunition through UPS And as far as hours there is a very narrow window that you can do this also I would like to say that I have a mailbox in a UPS store so I am a customer and cannot ship from that facility anything gun related

Bad news today, the gunsmith thats my friend and I posted about trying to give them business when I can is looking to maybe move to the south and teach gunsmithing courses. Might close up the shop and try something else. Seems to be a bad time with everything, hope they change their mind but don't blame them.

I've never been into Dick's Sporting Goods. There are a few other stores that aren't on my mental map. One is a private shop that prices his stuff wa-aa-ay over the rest, maintains a competitive (insulting) attitude and claims whatever he's trying to sell you is the best in the galaxy. And producing ID to buy a box of ammo is something foolish I really don't need to suffer gladly, regardless of where the idea originated.

Don't bank with Citi, don't use Google Search, never did and still don't do Fakebook, Use Amazon only if I can't find it at Walmart, and the list is getting longer and longer every day. I don't like Corporations who support things I don't agree with and try to force it
on everyone including their own employees. Too many corporate officers have gone loco and over the hill and are not true Americans. Card carrying commies don't get my business.

I was just in dicks sporting goods/ field & stream. They had a powder funnel on sale for $3.99. I went to the counter with it and the girl scanned it and then asked me what my birthday was, I told her. I asked why she needed my birth date to buy a $4 plastic funnel? She said I don't know , what's this used for? I said reloading. She said "that's why". Anyway. I just chuckled. Heads up guys, you got to show proof of age to buy cheap plastic funnels at Dicks sporting goods, LOL.
