We single out the dems because they are trying to take away the one tool that is constitutionally protected to fight against tyrants. Dems are forcing everyone to pay for abortion and social programs that we do not agree with. They are the ones trying to change the country, many of us signed up to serve and protect. We are the last free haven on earth. I doubt i'll change your mind.

You won't, but we're not far apart on what we want. I just differ in how I think we should get there from most people on this site it seems.

I started to type up a valid, fact based response to this, but then realized by all of your previous posts I've seen that you're highly unlikely to actually care about facts.

Dems vs Repubs is a far smaller problem than the divisiveness that's currently rampant in this country. So many people are just unwilling to acknowledge actual data and would rather just "believe" that their idea of what's accurate is accurate. Close minded people on both sides are the real problem here.

Unfortunately it seems like you don't care as much about facts either unless they suit you. It appears you may be close minded as well.

I agree with you about the deviceivness (can't spell it lol), it's out of control and so much hate and division in the world now. Who's to blame for that though???

The media=Dems
Tech giant=Dems
Radicals burning city's, stopping traffic, starting race wars=Dems
Hollywood=Dems
And on and on.......

Biden "won the electoral votes" and no Republicans or right wing radicals are out there burning city's down and attacking police officers. It's not the "right" you have to worry about causing violence, shutting down the 1st and 2nd amendment and dismantling the constitution.

I care about my gun rights whether it's my single shot .22 that my dad gave to me when I was 5 years old, my .270 bolt action my dad had bought for me when I was 6 mos. old, or my my semi autos. I care about EVERY LEGAL FIREARM, including my NFA items that I'VE ALREADY PAID MY TAX FEES FOR! It's a very slippery slope. Once they start taking they won't stop. Once they build momentum they can't be stopped, it's a snowball affect. They're so bold because we try to be civil and rational. It just fuels them, so they say "what's next"? We make it so easy for them.

I know it's easier to just let them do what they want to shut them up. If you just accept it like you seem to be then we're done. You have to see the truth for what it is and what's happening to our country, not just how you want to see it. I was hoping that all of these 1st time panic buying gun owners will see the light and fight the good fight for us. I guess it's my turn to get flamed now.

Hard right has stated that they'll kill anyone that trys to take their guns... Sounds like a "you will obey or else" to me

Who are THEY going to send to take everyone's guns? How is this not going to cause more bloodshed than just leaving our guns alone and dealing with the transgressors individually? And who knows who, or how many, people individually voted for Biden? You don't and you never will.

I agree with most what you said. I just seem to disagree with how to get there. I never said roll over and give them what they want. But acting like they're enemies on a battle field seems like the wrong approach to me.


As far as ignoring facts goes, what facts have I stated that were wrong?

Are you livin' inside my head? It is spelled: divisiveness. "Once they start taking, they won't stop." You are right about that. They will try to burrow in and make it seem natural for all citizens to give up their weapons, but this ain't Australia or New Zealand. Where they start, we will have to start. For the record, I feel like gun control should be considered using 2 hands on the pistol or combating muzzle rise on an AR

I just differ from most here on how I think we should get there. I'd much rather try to teach all these people that are scared out of their minds of guns that the guns are not the problem,It's the people that to do bad things with guns that are the problem.

Instead of demonizing them, I want to educate them.

Instead of closing doors in their faces, I'd like to upen up a whole new thought process.

Instead of being exclusionary, I'd like to include them in the joy and utility we find in firearms.

I know what you mean. It seems impossible most days.
It just seems, to me, like turning this into an "us versus them" kind of battle, even if it works short term, won't work long term. I feel like the only long term way to keep our guns is to get people to stop thinking of guns as the problem.

You're absolutely correct that MANY feel that way. But "many" is neither "most" nor "all". Given the chance for them to work up to it, I've had great luck in my personal life experience doing exactly what I said. They might not have decided to embrace gun culture, but they stopped viewing it as the enemy and realized that mental health is more of an issue than allowing gun ownership.
