GLFA 300 win mag

Ok I'm stoked. Who else has one? I have one on order and I hope it arrives soon. But not alot is said about it. If any one would like to share about their experiences, I would love to hear about it. The rifle is blessed with a 24" stainless barrel and comes with one five shot mag. I think this will be a great shooter. Can't wait to stretch it out.
I have wanted one for a while now 👍

Mine has proven to be very accurate approximately 2 boxes of ammo through it and (2) 1/2 MOA groups very happy about that. I am having a feeding issue though and not sure what it is? Bolt closes across the top of the next round like either the bolt doesn't go back far enough or the magazine is too low? if I fill the mag and manually cycle it will cycle all rounds every time. I am shooting suppressed so not sure if that affects the cycling of the next round?
I am unsure if this rifle has an adjustable gas block or not on my 6.5 creedmoor ar10, optimizing the gas per your rifle seemed to fix my feeding issues as well as helping it to run good. After a while I added a recoil setup in my buffer tube such as armspec silent recoil reducer, mine is a different brand and you and the spring you could swap out different weights to optimize it further, will see if I can find the vendor.

Well mine never came around to shooting good. I know of about 4 of them now that won't shoot well enough to take into the woods. Still cool but buyer beware. A nemo arms it is not.

Do they have "proprietary" barrel extensions/fitment, to their uppers?

Or can a guy have a barrel spun up for one by someone else?

Thanks

nemo is duel fed and glfa is single fed, so extensions are different. if the extension is different dimensional wise between an ar10 and either of the nemo or glfa, i have no clue. there's a place where you can buy various extension for ar's, but unsure if it goes beyong standard ar 10's and 15's?

If I had your rifle. I would scope the bore. I have seen a lot of reviews where they are accurate. And some that say they theirs was not. The majority were on the accurate side. But because of the price of ammo. Some are trying a couple of different factory loads and weights of bullets. GLFA has a lifetime warranty. And on one of their pod casts claimed sub moa on their 300wm. If you can't get it to shoot. Send it back in. Mine has had a little help. Upgraded trigger, muzzle break, Luth MB 3 stock, POF roller cam and Tubbs Flat wire buffer spring. I clean and inspect the BCG every time after having it out.

GLFA has a lifetime warranty on their firearms! Contact them and tell them the issues you're having. They will make arrangements for you to ship it back and they will correct the problems at no cost to you.
From what I've heard they have an awesome customer service program.

propbly wrong but since the glfa rifle is mounted with a barrel nut then a custom barrel shouldn't be too big of a problem. right?

Possibly, but check the extension and match it. There's a place that makes different extensions for different cartridges and different types of feeding (single or duel(. Don't remember the place, but I'll post it when I can. Need more info before stating what would be required

here's the place

make sure the tenon threads match the extension threads. not sure who you could get to ream gas port and headspace it?
