Ok, as a person living in Australia, I am an impartial observer so these are my observations.
Yank rifles are made for the masses and cheep. Some offer excellent accuracy and room to customise the rifle to your own requirements. Some are great hunting rifles out of the box. Others are just junk. You get what you pay for.
German rifles are expensive rifles with flash wood stocks, that are made for rich, blokes, who sit in high seats in their private game reserves sipping red wine while they wait for the deer to turn side on for the perfect 80m shot. These blokes don't know how to hunt but like to look the part.
From what I have seen, these expensive German rifles are no more accurate than the average U.S. made rifle, they just cost a load more.
Now if you were comparing Sako rifles then the story would be different.
