My Garmin Pro has been flawless on reading 100% of shots until now!

I guess it's the sleekness of small tipped bullets going fast that creates the anomaly!
I fired some 22 Creedmoor 75 and 80 grain ELD m bullets at 3300 fps and the Garmin picked up one in every four or five rounds fired.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Just out of curiosity was the battery fully charged and how cold was it when you were shooting? Was it snowing, raining, foggy?

Happened on two different days.
Partly cloudy one day and bluebird clear the next. Temps in mid 40's and 60's on those days.
It picked up every single 308 and 284 Winchester shot on those days.
I've had it for months now and the 22 Creedmoor tipped bullet is the ONLY one that has given it trouble.
Shot some 77 SMK and it caught 75-80% of those.

I haven't shot the 22 Creedmoor before nor after those range sessions.

Interesting. I'll have to try it with our 22 Creed sometime and the Berger 80.5... Had no issue catching my 7 Allen 147's at over 3700... So far no misses, but haven't tried the 22 cal yet.

Mine stopped working a few weeks ago, started out as missing here and there, and then wouldn't read anything. Garmin asked me to do a software update. Fixed the problem.
Good to know.
Mine hasn't missed a shot since early December when I did the load work on the 22 Creed rifle.

I was pretty upset to see it quit working, every bullet fired now from any gun it's set up. It's just so simple, takes a few seconds. I will be getting one of the new athlon to test and keep as a back up for this situation in the future. I have a magneto speed that hasn't come out of the box since the garmin arrived....

In my 22 Creed, I have only fired Berger 80.5 and 85.5gr bullets but they were all detected by the Garmin.

Question - when the Garmin is on and in bluetooth connection with your cell phone (w/Garmin ap) doesn't it update it's own software automatically?
