for all you Banish 30 owners

has anyone had the problem of trying to take a Banish 30 apart to clean? after getting a new baffle from Mack Bros for one that I damaged I put it back together correctly and used anti-sieze on all treads so it would not freeze together from heat.so today I saw carbon cloud come out while testing loads so time to clean right? took front cap off and removed the 2 baffles then tried to unscrew the other 2 pieces from the main body but they will not unscrew at all, I only put it together hand tight. so put it in the sonic cleaner nice and clean now but will not come apart to get the baffles out to finish cleaning, any ideas? thanks Jim
I took mine to range and shot it maybe 30-40 rounds. Took it home and it came apart easily. Cleaned it and tried to put it back together and it wouldn't screw together. I know the baffles were in correctly but it just wouldn't allow me to tighten it. I got within about 1/4 of inch. I contacted the people who sold it to me and they asked for pics and videos. They eventually send me a return label and I just sent it back. Nowhere does it say that I need to use anti-seize on it. Now it will be a month before they return it to me. Waste of a thousand dollars.

Yep! I use CLR and it works great to dissolve that carbon build up, try it you'll like it
I used CLR a couple of time on my breaks and it took off the black nitride and really marked up my stainless ones. CLR works well on removing the carbon from the muzzle after I remove the break. Cortina did say using CLR on to clean your barrel will void the warranty.

if you use an ultrasonic cleaner and use CLR it will take the finish off after a few times and yes you need to use anti -seize on the treads. as fir it not going together I had the same issue and it was me not the suppressor, you do not have one of the baffles correctly together, if you can see the red o ring one of them is out of place, when together correctly you will not see the red o ring. dlmitch52a watch the video on Silencer Central and you will see

I like mine. No problems. I like my Banish 45 also.

The threads were rolled. I had to send it back to Silencer Central under their warranty. What anti-seize do you use?
