She's a screamer! As a side note, I started pressure testing a 6.5 CM this morning with 117 gr shockhammers. 3.5 gr over book max with StaBall hit 3169. No sign of pressure yet with that one. If I aint mistaken those are PRC speeds or dang near it.

You are correct. My 6.5-284 (which is ballistically about the same as the PRC) shoots the 124 gr Hunter over 3200 fps but it groups better and with lower SD&ES at 3140 fps.
I've got the 123 gr Absolute going right around 3130 fps in my 6.5 Creed with BL-C(2).

I found 2 velocity nodes this morning. The lower was at 2920-2926 the higher velocity node was'nt quite as flat 3114- 3123 but both were way flatter than everything else. I'd be tickled with a creed shootin over 3100 w/ 117s.

Actually, I just looked at my data and my node with the 123 is exactly the same as yours with the 117's (3114-23 fps). Is your barrel 24"?
