Getting them involved young is the ticket to preserving the tradition!

This is what drives me nuts about NY laws. Children cant hunt big game until they are 14 and cant hunt small game until they are 12! No wonder why hunting is dying in NY!

My boy is 6 this year and he struggles just to hold a bb gun right, much less make a 140 yard shot! I think 140 definitely qualifies as long range for a 6 year old, I'm very impressed! Congrats to him and to you for starting him off right.

Thanks guys. He still struggles with the weight of anything bigger than a cricket 22 unless he's got something to support the front of the rifle. Pretty good off bipods though. Practice practice practice.
