Firearms You Have Never Fired?

This is an embarrassing thread. i started counting the unfired ones and that led to wondering if i should get rid of some….im going back to classifieds for some treatment
I probably have more I have never fired than I have fired, does not mean I am ashamed or ready to sell. Some I bought to leave to my kids/grandkids. Also I bought them when I had more expendable income to spend on ammo. Todays cost makes it difficult. So I just reach for my favorites

That was me one day. I knew I had several collectibles, but the more I thought and then counted, the more I realized I had more unfired arms than I had ever realized. They are always there if needed or desired, and their current values have made them good investments.

To be fair a lot of mine were gifted or from people who passed. They are more deme sentimental than shooters.

I had a couple commemorative Winchester rifles that I did not shoot for obvious reasons. Traded them for a Savage .22-250 that I shoot. Still have a Winchester .30-.30 with a factory installed medallion with my father's name in the stock. After some consideration, I chose to fire it. No one outside my family will give $ 0.02 about the medallion.

I sold about ten firearms that I had shot, but not regularly. One was a Belgium made Sweet Sixteen Browning. Sweet shotgun. I quit carrying it in the field. Turned them into a couple firearms I shoot. My philosophy changed as I aged. Shoot them or move them along.

Guilty as charged. I have a bunch of commodity plastic pistols that I haven't shot. Mostly because I just grab my favorites whenever I go to the range. I should probably sell a bunch. My son would gladly take them all, but I have even have dupes of many that sit and gather dust.

I also have a couple of garands that I have never shot. Obviously, they've been fired many times in their lives, but not by me.

But I'd say all my rifles get used.
