Favorite loads for .280AI, .30-06 and .300 Win Mag

I have been tempted by many of these threads to add powders, bullets, and other components to my cabinets. Now I have cabinets full of different powders and bullets. I can't seem to leave well enough alone.
Now I have found that RL23 gives me the best loads for a 280AI. I have just 2.5 lbs. left. There are bigger problems to contemplate in my life than worrying about running out of a scarce powder.
I'm going the other way, trying to minimize the powders I have on hand.

I mostly shoot 223, 308, 243AI, and 300winmag. I also load for my dad's 270win, and a friend's 280AI.

If anybody has suggestions for minimal powders for the cartridges listed, I'm all ears.

Currently using magpro in the winmag but I've been playing with H1000 to good effect. A friend has some N165 that he said I could try. He's sitting on a pile of it and he doesn't use it. Depending on how the n165 does I'll pick one between it and h1k.

My current load in my 300winmag is 76.5gr of h1k, fed 215m, Norma brass, topped with a berger 215 hybrid jumping .020" averaged 2907 for ten shots. Sd 6.9. 26" 1:9 bartlein.

My other load in the winmag was 75gr of magpro, WLR, r-p brass, with a 212eldx. It runs upper 2800's but after I'm out of these bullets I won't be buying more. The bearing surface is a lot longer than a 215 hybrid and they hit pressure in my gun quicker.

I will revisit the 208 eldm though when I get a chance. That one was running a comfy 2930 with magpro. I just ran out of them and wanted to shoot the 215's anyway.

280AI, 26" barrel 1:8, Hammer Hunter 131, Peterson brass, 61gr H4831SC, CCI BR2, 3232 fps. More accurate than my shooting and so far everything has been DRT out to 525 yards so far.

Just rebarreled my 30-06, so currently breaking in the new 20" 1:10 Bartlein #3 barrel and working up loads to see what this barrel likes. Starting with Hammer Hunter Tipped in 163gn and IMR 4350. That powder worked well in the last barrel with several different projectiles. Hoping the twist is actually fast enough to stabilize that bullet, it calls for 1:10.5.

2 powders come to mind, imr4064 and h4350. Except for the 223 I don't know if the 4064 would work?

Looking to see what everyone else is shooting! Share you favorite loads for .280 AI, .3006 and .300 Win Mag here.

I am currently fine tuning .280AI for 140 Nosler BT, Peterson brass, CCI200 and 60 gr of H4831 at 3.300 COAL. I will also be working a load up with 140 accubond and possibly 140 partitions as well

My current loads for 3006 are 180 gr Woodleigh RN and 54 gr IMR4350 in Rem brass and CCI200 as well as Norma Oryx in the same weight with same components. Great deer killer. I am thinking about testing some random bullets I have lying around including 150 and 165 GMX, 165 Trophy Bonded Bearclaw, and 150/165 gr Fusions.

300 Win Mag I am continuing load development but I hope to find something in the 180 class for a mountain rifle I just picked up off the classifieds.

Edited for pics. Deer killed with Tikka 3006 Hunter. Also, the Kimber Montana 280AI I have been loading for.

The 300 for a mountain rifle? What do you plan to hunt. I would use your 280AI in a light weight stock. If your chasing elk then Barns 180 TTSX works well.or premium bullet high BC that shoots well from your rifle. The 06 wasn't designed to shot 180s but have and done well. I would use a 150 or 165 premium bullet again that shoot from your rifle well. The 280 the 140 gr will be my choice and pick bullets same as the others, if it won't shoot well its no good

300 for anything...change my mind😁😁😁😁

Those of you that have a 280AI and have actually tried heavy loads like a 168 or something heavier what is the velocity that was obtained. I have a savage action that I want to re-barrel with a 280AI. Will probably do a 1/8 or 8.5 twist.
Here's some 175 eldx and 175 elite hunter numbers. Peterson brass ,fed210 and H4831 SC. Seems to favor the 175eldx so far at 57.5 gr . All loads are .01 off the lands. I haven't tested the 168s yet but I've got a few hundred berger waiting to try. The barrel is a 26 inch proof sendero light 1:8.4 twist.
