What's your favorite hunting bullet for long range?
What do you like about it?

I have not shot anything "long range" but Berger's have served me well.

I was pretty impressed with Barnes this year though on a couple cow elk we took at short range.

Next up though is Hammer to experiment with.

Nosler accubond has never let me down but Berger is a close second. And interesting that Remington and Winchester on the list but no Speer.

Hornady SST's have always worked well, but have not used them past 485 yds.

Have had good luck with ballistic tips on deer. They have always been pretty good as far as being accurate. Going to try some Barnes TTSX this year.

I've taken more deer and other critters with Nosler AB than anything. Although those Bergers and Hammers are shooting very well right now.

Have only ever loaded Hornady bullets so had to vote Hornady, but I'm going to try out some Bergers next year.

Since Nosler don't have any Accubond bullets anywhere in the universe to buy I have switched to Hammer.

I've had fantastic results killing elk beyond 700 with ELDMS and Bergers.
I went on a brief bonded/mono kick and quickly went back to target bullets for anything beyond timber range

Swift also makes excellent bullets. Scirocco II and A-Frame. Federal Ascent as well.

Hammer Hunter- 6.5 124HH, .284-143HH Fast, accurate, easy to load for, Ca legal and work.
ELDM- 6.5-147 gr , Able to carry after my Hammers die off, hit target 800 and out.
BERGER- .284-175 gr. My Hammers will do the job to 800 yards, load these for longer ranges. I'm also addicted to reloading/shooting and testing, haha

Having used so many through the years and depending on game, distance, caliber, rifle preference, etc, I cannot say I have a "favorite". My favorite would be the one that works the best for that rifle and cartridge on a particular game/varmint.
