My go to has been my 6.5-284 for almost every deer season, sometimes though I still break out the ol 6mm. They both do a fine job for me!! Great post, fun to read what everyone likes

Remington 700 .270 ADL my father bought me in 1978. Shot many head of game with it.

But, not trying to be a smart ***. When I do hunt with a rifle it's a 270 Tikka T3 Lite.

This year I'll hunt bear with a 44 mag CVA Scout loaded with PC LBT 320 gr WLFN at 1450 fps

Being that this thread is trending towards old reliable I'm going to mix it up. These days I absolutely favor my Christensen carbon classic in 300wsm. I was lucky enough to get one that shoots lights out and it has settled into being my go to for anything antlered

Great topic! I plan to use my Winchester Model 94 30-30 for my first Hunt of the season. My Grandpa gave it to me 40 years ago. I set it up as a scout rifle (below). I just sighted it in and it was dead on.

First few days sitting in the the ground blind will have my Ruger model 77 in .264 Winchester Magnum. My walking around gun is a Remington model 700 in a .35 Remington.

My favorite rifle is also 6.5-06, built on Mauser 98 action, boyd stock, 26 inch stainless barrel. It has served me well on mutiple deer and hogs, oryx, antelope, red deer, elk, and numerous varmints.

This year it will my Remington 721 in .270, or the model 70 in 25-06. I was hoping to use my new to me Savage 99 in .308, but component shortage pushed that back a year.

Taking 2 rifles with me to Michigan this year. A Ruger no 1 in 25-06, and not sure about my 2nd rifle. Maybe my 6.5-06 that is just crazy accurate, maybe my marlin 338 lever action, which I've shot my largest whitetail with, or maybe my Ruger 77 in 338 rcm, another crazy accurate rifle with 180 grain accubonds. My problem is I just have too many rifles, and they're all good shooters.
