Having typical shooters hearing loss I bought a pair of Axil amplifying and attenuator ear buds. My thinking was once in my ambush point I'd put them in to improve hearing and block out rifle report. I found that neither ear foam inserts provided (silicone and styrofoam) fit well or stayed in my ears. I also found that for the amplification function to provide any notable hearing improvement I had to have the volume up to the point feedback squeal negated any improvement. They also have a blue tooth capability which I didn't test as it's not something I'd use. I do not recommend that you spend your money on this product.
