Do I want a 375 RUM?

I have never built anything bigger than 300 RUM, and have a few questions. I want be able to shoot the 390 Atip and 410 Berger, as well as the lighter bullets down to 250gr or so. I realize that in a Rem 700 ultra mag action I would have to pull the bolt to eject a loaded round with the 390-410gr bullets.
Is 375 RUM enough capacity?
Can it be throated for the 390 or 410gr bullets and still get accuracy with the shorter lighter bullets?
Know where to find an 11 twist 375 blank?
My intention is to shoot steel at a mile, then maybe hunt something big one day.

Does anyone here shoot one? I was originally thinking of doing a CheyTac build but I already have a 700 donor long action in the safe I could use I believe. Or am I wrong and the bolt face won’t work? It’s a 7mm mag action originally. But if the action will work, are any of you here using one...

I think if you want to shoot the 400gr class bullets then you should step up to a Cheytac size cartridge, especially if you have a mile in mind.

Keep with the regular 300gr ish bullets and the RUM will be great.

I don't think people realize how big the bullets are...here's a 411gr hammer next to a .243 Win...

This is really good advice. The RUM case can do pretty well with the 350 SMK as long as you're willing to single load them. The lighter monos might be with considering too.
