I had a 338 Edge, great cartridge, I liked it, but it's performance to me was lacklustre seeing as though I could get above 3200fps with ANY weight bullet in my own wildcat 338-416 Rigby Improved, which will not fit in actions that size.
You could have a rifle with any iteration of RUM cartridge there.

I would bore scope the barrel after cleaning...make a decision if the barrel is toast.

Ummm order some dies and Sierra 250 or 300 match kings! Set them on top of a pile of H1000 and lite it with a GM215!!! Nuff said!!!!
