Dicks sporting goods

I bought guns there years ago, and lots of ammo, never again! I heard they have three anti-gun lobbyists on there payroll now. I even used to give gift cards to Dicks at Christmas time. Now I hope they go under..

Dick's Sporting Goods CEO Ed Stack is okay with his company's loss of $150 million because he believes the stance for gun control was worth it.
Bloomberg.com reports that Dick's lost "about $150 million" after coming out for gun control, yet Stack continues to stand his ground. He addressed America's gun policy, saying, "The system does not work. It's important that when you know there's something that's not working, and it's to the detriment of the public, you have to stand up."

On February 28, 2018–two weeks after the attack on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School–Dick's announced they would no longer sell "assault rifles" or "high capacity" magazines. They also raised their minimum purchase age for long guns to 21.

On April 17, 2018, Breitbart News reported that Dick's would not be sending unsold "assault rifles" and "high capacity" magazines back to manufacturers. Rather, they would destroy them.

By late August 2018 sales reports indicated Dick's gun control stance was hurting business, but instead of doing away with anti-gun polices Dick's expanded them by scaling back on hunting gear as well. Dick's also announced they might have to close upwards of 35 stores nationwide, but they continued to stand their ground on gun control.

On March 13, 2019, Breitbart News reported that sales had dropped precipitously enough that Dick's would be pulling all guns from 125 stores nationwide. CEO Stack admitted the company's gun control stance was hurting business but offered no indication that Dick's plans to reverse course.

He might sleep fine at night, but he won't be once his board of directors kicks his dumb liberal *** to the curb for losing them $150 MILLION in profit in less than 1 year's time, all because he wants to be a social justice warrior.

We need to shop, support and invest in Pro 2nd stores, companies and products.
We need a list of alternatives for Lib anti 2nd companies.
Not just sporting goods companies but say... I know Levis needs to be known as a "no shop".
Yep! That's one reason why the only coffee I've been drinking for the last 3 years is Black Rifle Coffee. Vet owned/operated/employed, supports vets, vet charities, and pro-2A groups. Plus, it's the best d@mn coffee I've ever had.

if y'all will recall, they pulled AR's from the shelves after sandy hook in 2012. i havent been to dicks since then except to try on shoes that i then go buy online or from cabelas/bass pro. i go there because it's less than 3 miles from my house, cabelas and bass pro are both 30 minutes away.

I haven't bought another Yeti product since they opened their pieholes... Shame I own a lot of their stuff...However, I'm not throwing it away because I don't have expendable income to buy more, and it all still works fine.
