Copper Bullets

Because I feel like an 85gr out of a huge case like the PRC is a mismatch. The jump would be pretty far I bet
You're making an assumption that jump matters - in this case it doesn't. The HH is somewhat like a cup and core bullet, but AH is cut so the first drive band is the first thing to engage. It's a bore rider, the engraving is all done in the shank. Jump doesn't matter in most varmint guns that shoot light for caliber bullets, it's the same concept with the light HHs. I can't get my 204 Ruger or 223AI to touch the lands with enough bullet in the neck to hold shooting really light bullets.

The other side is the point of the lower weight is more velocity to start with. You can send a lighter bullet fast enough that even shedding more velocity than a heavier bullet it gets to the animal with more than enough speed left to perform. KE doesn't matter, shedding the petals and punching through does. I run 200+ gn cup and core from an 8 twist 300 RUM, but my next Hammer with be a 124gn. Should be well north of 4000 FPS, MPBR out to 500 yards, fully expect it to drop deer the same as the 180HH in my 30-06.
