Convert my Remington R15 to 22 ARC?

Is it possible to convert a Remington R15 from a 223 to a 22 ARC? I just don't know if the components inside the R15 action is standard with all other AR15's or if it is proprietary and non-compatible with conversion parts. Anyone know? I love the rifle but want to step up to the 22 ARC for Coyote hunting.

I just looked up the cost of an full upper and a complete AR 15 22 ARC rifle and the cost is similar (close). This is starting to not make sense. Also I can get the 22 ARC in a AR15 with a side charge handle. The one thing I dislike about my R15 is the rear charge handle combined with a scope. It's not convenient to put my hand under the back of the scope to charge the rifle. I think I have a decision to sell the R15 and buy a AR15 22 ARC with a side charge handle.

I just finished my build ..replace barrel, and use a 6.5 Grendel BCG along with 6.5 magazine and you can use standard charging handel, I used a large one from Aero Percission. Good luck!
