Clean Loaded Brass?

I like wipe down each case after they are sized and de primed. I often use spray carburetor cleaner to remove any of the wax sizing lube. Then I put the cases in the Vibrate Tumbler for eight hours. Next morning I remove them I then do all my primer pocket cleaning and Neck. Prep work !!! I also admit to. Using Flitz metal polish on each of the. 10 rounds that. Come with me in the. Hunt !! No. Technical reason for that step! Just looks really nice!!

I use a sonic cleaner with distilled water & simple green and rinse in distilled water. It doesn't shine the brass like vibrating but gets it clean, I use hornady one shot case lube for sizing and wipe all cases down after with a clean rag.

I wipe my cases after resizing with a microfiber cloth with a light spray of 91% alcohol and let it dry before seating primers. Has always worked well for me, never any issues.

Nope. That should have been done when the brass came out of the cleaner / tumbler before primer install.
Acetone can seep where water cannot. I wouldn't chance it with the primer seal.
Just a dry rag.
Technically, water would be more likely to "seep" in since it is a smaller molecule. Additionally, water has greater polarity than acetone (only about 60% that of water), meaning the molecular interactions would be stronger. Think about a paper towel absorbing water: this is due to capillary action which is caused by adhesion and cohesion, which are directly related to polarity. Therefore, water is more likely to deeply penetrate substances than acetone. So, unless you're soaking them for a long time, neither substance should penetrate the primer or bullet to case gap.

Sorry, I'm married to a chemistry nerd. She doesn't know shooting, but after showing her what is being discussed she understood.

I use a light buff with steel wool on the neck and shoulder before sizing then wipe with a rag after sizing. That's about all I've ever done.

I wipe my cases after sizing to remove the sizing wax….that's it, no chemicals, no tumbling. I just prime them, bag them or load them, depending on what I am doing at the time.
I have never heard of anyone doing this.
I once caught my buddy tumbling LOADED ROUNDS in his case tumbler. His excuse was that he forgot to wipe off the case lube and that was the easiest way to clean 100 rounds….I just shook my head and said YEP, WHATEVER!

Cheers.
P. S. I guess I'm not THAT strange after all!
There is no issue with dry tumbling loaded rounds at all.

I use Hornady wax to lube my FL sized cases.I tumble in clean corn cob to remove wax. When I neck size I use white mica and just prime and reload.

I was wondering when someone would mention Krazy Cloth. It's cheap, it works, lasts for hundreds of rounds. I've been loading since 1968 and I have tried and own everything there is to clean a case. Because of my age, I shoot more paper and steel in competition than hunt, which means 2k to 3.5k rounds per year. After firing a round I aneal for consistency. Wipe with that Krazy Cloth and paper towel, then size with RCBS lube, because it's waterbased and wipes of squeaky clean when I spin it in a drill and wipe with a wet cloth. If I'm doing a lot of cases I might wet tumble instead and clean up the chamfer that the steel pins nicked all up. Of course, I clean the primer pocket and brush out necks if I don't wet tumble, but after completing the loading process I have brass that will stick to any chamber it's fired in and that is a very important part of the "send it" process.
