I just heard that Charlton Heston died. Sad news. RIP

Sad news indeed. He's been battleing Alzheimer's since '02.

RIP and thanks for everythiing - movies and NRA.

I really love guys like Heston, they say what they mean and don't parse words. I will certainly miss his presence - RIP.

I grew up watching him in the late 50's up through his time as NRA president. He was known as a Honest and humble man. He was a good Christian and sportsmen. He is now on a hunting trip with God. I pray for his family and close friend for thier loss. He will be missed. May He Rest In Peace!

He was a good friend to gun owners and hate to hear of his passing. The fact that they will probably be running planet of the apes and Ben Hur back to back for a week on TV deepens my grief.
