Cavity back bullets?

Anyone heard or used this brand before? Interesting concept
Yes! The petals will hold under 3000 FPS and shed over (https://www.cavitybackbullets.com/category-s/117.htm). I have the 168 MKZ loaded for my .30 Gibbs.

Having said that, since you're in CA, I highly recommend to support small businesses and made in CA product - https://www.mcguireballistics.com/

That looks good! Thanks for the response and I agree with supporting local but I'm looking for a 6mm and last I checked there hunting 6mm requires 1-7

I have been using CBB in my 6.5 Grendel Encore for a few years now. Mine likes the 105MKZ.

I have taken a few whitetails and 4 Axis deer with it.

Here are some pictures of the (1) Entry, (2) Exit, (3) inside of the chest cavity. (4) is the animal itself. Shot was 142 yards and I hit a bit higher than I wanted to, but he only went about 35 yards before falling over.

I have a few of the 92 gr 6mm hunting bullets loaded for my 240. Waiting for the time and conditions to see how they do. Work and weather seem to really cut
in to fun time.
Happy New Year to all, 74
