In all honestly it was such an amazing trip I was still trying to wrap my head around it all 3 months after I got back.
In my younger days when I was guiding hard and heavy I hunted 5.5 days a week and did so for six-seven months at a time so by the end of the season I would just be physically and mentally shot.
When I got home from this trip I swear I was even more beat than that and I loved absolutely every minute of it except for the flights over and back. I doubt I'll ever be willing to fly South African Airlines again.
