Case lube

I use lanolin and alcohol it's great. Afterwards I wash them in hot water mixed with an eggcup full of liquid detergent then rinse in cold water then into the oven at 150 degrees Celsius for half an hour then into the tumbler cleaner for a couple of hours.
I would just put brass straight in the tumbler after wet tumbling I just put brass in a vibrating tumbler it dries and shines

Glad I saw this thread. I need some more lube and I'm going with the 90/10 alcohol/lanolin mix. Sounds like it works without any danger of build-up in the dies.

If I'm spending on the best components I want the most precise die forming possible.

I'll take the time to lay my cases in the bin at about 45 degrees, neck up, and spray the news once then lay them flat and spray twice.

For those that like Lee case lube, I mix rubbing alcohol with Lee lube in a small plastic spritzer bottle (about 4-5:1 ratio of Alcohol:Lee lube). Makes application super easy, ensures you don't get too much lube on the cases, and makes a tube of Lee lube last a long, long time.

I bought what will likely be a lifetime supply:
Lanolin-

Using a purpose bought measuring cup I poured 1.0 oz. of lanolin into the bottle and got it leveled out. Marked a line on the side of the bottle. Then I poured in 10.0 oz. of IPA and marked a second line on the side of the bottle.
Then I made a second bottle to give to a friend and still have a lot of material left over.

whats everyone using? I've been using Hornady case lube but it's recently giving me issues so I went back to my old Lee case lube but I'm about out of that so time for a new product.
Been using Hornady for about 5 years even on the 300 Weatherby Never a problem yet

Ya'll need to keep buying that 99% IPA. Company I work for is largest US producer. Need to get that stock up before I retire

isopropyl alcohol mixed with liquid lanolin 10 to 1 for hands and cleaning dies.
Straight liquid lanolin for sizing. Not a single problem in 5 years with 11 different cartridges, expanders and forming dies. Saved a lot of money and the skin on my hands.
