Can someone tell me what happened to this bullet?

300 blk is a great round for kids. Just finished working up my 190gr cutting edge for subs. I run the 101 hammer in them most the time because that bullet just simply kills with a quickness and has very little recoil

Looks like it opened up initially then partially hit something solid on one side. I can see the "pedals" have formed fairly equally at impact then mashed by bone at much lower velocity??

Ive shot alot of those same bullets and haven't seen one do that "yet". I've only caught couple in deer but the ones I did catch were fully expanded. I'm pushing mine at 1050fps and have shot deer out to 120y with full expansion, which was obvious, from the exit wound. It definitely looks like it started expanding and then lost its stability and went sideways.. but who knows

Interested in this as well. I plan to use these in my 300's. All the comments above, these are made for subsonic expansion. Looks like it wasn't stable. Where was the impact?

IMHO, all of the comments above are spot on. There is nothing wrong with the bullet; the application/delivery system requirement is not ideal for its intended purpose.
