Long bullet, low velocity, got deer, good job.This came from the offside of my 10 year Olds first buck. It's a 200 gr maker from a 300 blackout @1146 fps.
Twist requirement is faster than 1:8. There are 2 blackout bullets at 200gr; one expanding and one doesn't labeled as target non expanding.
Don't know is why I asked. Crazy having 2 same weight different usage.I think he means this bullet;
Looks like it opened up initially then partially hit something solid on one side. I can see the "pedals" have formed fairly equally at impact then mashed by bone at much lower velocity??This came from the offside of my 10 year Olds first buck. It's a 200 gr maker from a 300 blackout @1146 fps.
IMHO, all of the comments above are spot on. There is nothing wrong with the bullet; the application/delivery system requirement is not ideal for its intended purpose.This came from the offside of my 10 year Olds first buck. It's a 200 gr maker from a 300 blackout @1146 fps.
