Calypso AB Mini Ultrasonic Wind Meter

Calypso has integrated into the AB Ecosystem with a miniature Ultrasonic Wind Meter. This is a rechargeable compact (1 7/8th" tall by 1 3/4" wide) device which can be integrated to work along side other AB devices. Once paired with those devices it will feed the data automatically into them as you use them. No need for a phone or 3rd party app once paired.

The Calypso AB Mini features an internal battery with a 6 day battery life, and wireless recharging.

Only the Calypso AB Mini model is compatible with the AB Ecosystem.

If by "they" you mean garmin, it's not to be released until 2025.
Those of us uncle sammed with the instinct 2x usually won't see the new ones right away unless you go out and buy one.

Sooo…no? It won't work with the AB software already on the instinct 2?

Old devices will likely continue to get updates for at least a year after the 3X launch. Integration on the Garmin devices is complex but it is my understanding the Tactix 7s & Instinct 2xs with AB should get it. It all just depends on when those get firmware updates. It is also my understanding the Tablets and Montana's etc should get this as well.

Not at this time, but it is a possibility in the future.
