Bumpstocks banned

Would you guys help me out here? I do not own a AR nor have I ever handled them. what is the purpose of the bump stock, and what benifit is it of the Shooter to own one? What practical application would a bump stock be used for?

If you've never had an ar15 go out and buy one. The are cheap as hell right now. Run a mag through it as fast as you can and see if u enjoy it. Bump fire stocks just adds a little fun to it. Keep in mind your not worried about throat erosion in your ar barrel lol
 
These ignorant politicians probably have no idea that you can bump fire an ar15 just fine without a bumpfire stock. If they get away with this it will just empower them to go after all semiautos then all guns in general. You can give these people an inch, if u do they will take a mile every time

Lee enfields fired so fast that Germans mistakened it for machine gun fire. Looks like bolt guns are next! Either that or the regulation of trigger fingers.
 
Or perhaps it was the easiest in road into the boiling of the gun owning frogs. State by state "I don't live there".....who cares about that state.....thing by thing........"who really cares about bump stocks"...............
 
The idea that a president just told the AG to rewrite the law and it happened is terrifying to me. I assume one of the people jailed for this might get it to SCOTUS but it's a long road.

A year and a half ago people thought we were on the verge of repealing the NFA and here we are adding to it.

If you truly beleive in the second amendment it can be looked at as a way to level the playing field since the government has fully auto weapons, so we should too.

Practical application, in all seriousness, is to have full auto fire while you cover your buddy as he moves. Basic infantry tactics against your enemy.

If the ban of a bumpstock will set off the next revolution our country is **** already..........the atrocities set forth by the former piece of crap president with the death of the guys in benghazi and the cattle rancher from Arizona far outreach a cheapass piece of plastic designed for entertainment purposes.....yet no revolution for those dead guys..and no one in jail for it either.....

You need to stop living in the past and downplaying what just happened. Previous problems are not good reasons that this isn't a big deal. This is going to make lawful American gun owners felons, and it was directly ordered by the President of the United States. The implications go far beyond "a cheapass piece of plastic for entertainment" even if that was a hal decent argument to begin with, which it wasnt.

Mind you that same previous president accepted that bumpstocks were within the law, this president said he didn't care and to change the law.
 
Its a test and only a test. They are doing this just to see if they can get away with obviously overstepping their authority. It will be challenged in the courts. All they need is for liberal judges to go along with it, and a traitor or two on the Supreme Court. If they get away with the entire Constitution and Bill of Rights is dead. Get some popcorn and hold on to your seats folks!!
