A trued blue printed and re-crowned with a do-it-yourself bedding job 700sps should out shoot a stock sendero anyday. As far as the caliber 30-06 would make a great long range hunting gun if you hand load. 30-06 can be hand loaded into the 300WM and WSM realm no problem. My 30-06 shoots .5moa all day with the mods i listed above and some careful handloads on a factory sporter barrel from the 70s.
