Brux vs ace barrels

I'm interested in both because the are within 10 dollars of each other and only have experience with brux.
As with anything else, YMMV. There are people that prefer barrel X to Y. If you want to have personal experience with Ace, then try them. @Flintlock shooter is an excellent source about Ace. Otherwise, stay with Brux. Only you can make this decision as we all have varying experiences and preferences.

I'm not in a rush I'll wait if need be. I was honestly going to do a criterion prefit but since decided against that

I have built four rifles in the last two years all of them are fitted to Brux barrels and all shoot. Don't think you could go wrong with a Brux barrel, my .02. I also have a Krieger that is lights out, so I don't have any experience with most other barrel makers just my personal choice. That is the beauty of America freedom of personal choice. God Bless America.

I recently chambered a ACE Barrel in 22 Creedmoor and here are some results. The first pic is shots 11, 12 and 13 thru the barrel. The second pic is 2 shot groups later. I shot both groups prone with a bipod. Both are 3 shot groups. I'm happy with the results!!

I'm going to order a new barrel for a Remington 700 243 soon. Going 26 inch heavy varmint 1:8.5 twist. The 2 barrels I'm torn between are brux and ace. Any input good or bad on either would be appreciated
Brux
