Thanks. I like the way it turned out. The added paint helps cover a lot of the black CF that was so prevalent.

Yes. Matte clear. Really makes the color and even CF deepen up.

Did you get yours from manners direct. I saw the black ones they had. I wanted the m5 bottom inlet so I got this one.

I think that sounds right. I believe the stock is more like 32-33oz depending on inlet for LA/SA and also BDL vs M5. I believe the rail is only about 1.5oz also.

I mentioned it before but I ordered one without the chassis in July that was ready in November, but in October I was able to get one that was on their site and completed already. I didn't realize it had the chassis until it arrived. I was initially disappointed but decided not to take delivery of my original order because I ended up not minding the extra weight and it seems to do quite well even without being bedded.

My rifle with a Mark 5 is 9 pounds 1oz, so if I swap that with a VX6HD I could shave about 7oz and I am ok with either.
