Brake recommendations

Looking for an oversized brake for a sporter with 9/16" or 5/8" threads. The key is I'm looking for something short, lightweight, no bottom ports and reasonably effective on a 6.5 Creedmoor. I'm not looking to reduce recoil as much as improve my ability to spot game after I shoot.

What would you choose? I'm thinking some 2 port brake with flat baffles and side ports only.

SRS. I went with a 2 port for my Seekins Element 6.5 PRC and it really helped reduce muzzle jump.

Precision armament hypertap, i put one on my custom 300 prc that only weighs a little over 7lb with scope and it reduced recoil to feel like a 6.5 creedmoor

Look at the Patriot Valley Arms lightweight brakes. I run one of these on my NRL Hunter 260 Rem rig to meet the weight limits. Works very well.

6.5 CM does not require much to reduce felt recoil. An effective muzzle brake serves two purposes: reduced felt recoil and reduced muzzle rise. Often, the latter is not realized. I have had a good variety/mix of muzzle brakes since 2003, and Nathan's MBs (https://muzzlebrakesandmore.com/) remain my go-to muzzle brakes.

And wait. I only shoot suppressed so I just plan on a can on the gun when I'm thinking of a new one. If I was going to recommend a brake I would go with an ACE, and that's just because I know Austin. He's multiple time PRS champion and knows his stuff when it comes to optimum performance in a rifle.

But I highly recommend SRS TiPro4 or TiPro3 if there is one. But I own TiPro4 and TiPro5. Both on 6.5x300 and 338-378 Wby's. Work amazingly well.

This is the beauty of having plenty of choices. I cannot believe it was 11+ years ago when I did this video. This is my .270 AI with a 30" barrel propelling the 175 Matrix VLD with JP Enterprise Beenie Coulee brake. I forgot my rear bag, and as we all know, an unsupported long barrel is more susceptible to muzzle rise.
