Muzzle Brake Recommendations

I'm not taking anything away from his work or dedication to our hobby. Just noting that a braked hunting rifle of typical weight would be a lot more relevant for most of us.
I am no software engineer or as bright as he is, but I think he factored in the rifle's weight. It's too bad he did not elaborate on that portion.

After giving it some thought, that's what I came up with too.
I'm no computer programmer but I'll bet he was able to factor that in.

So, my only OTHER complaint is that he didn't test a Vais! 🤣🤣🤣

Evolution, what worked in the 90s,
And into 2000 and 2020 it keeps changing. Magna Port to Vais to MBM- Terminus what's next.

I'm looking for a brake that doesn't blast you in the face every time you shoot, but is still effective at reducing recoil.

It's going on a 7.5 lb 7mm rem mag with 1/2x28 threads. I had an APA micro bastard on this rifle for a while. It worked well, but gave me a headache pretty quickly.

Self timing would be a plus.
Any recommendations?
I can't believe there is 1/2" threads on a 7mil? Most won't cut threads that small on that caliber. I've seen 9/16" on 26cal and up to 28, then jumped to 5/8" on 30cal.
