Book powder charge difference

It might just be a mistake as well. I've caught a couple of them on their infinity cd. 3600 is bs with a 55. I can almost get that out of my 6br with an 8 twist 25" barrel.
What edition manual do you have? I wasn't aware of anything recently new.

I have a 220 Swift with 1-14 twist rate. In the newer Sierra Reloading manual. It shows the 55gr bullet down to 3600fps. In the older manual it's it shows 3900fps velocity with a higher powder load. I have had this rifle from the early 70's. In the newer addition Sierra manual it notes the change in twist rate from 1-14 to 1-12 twist rate. Not for sure, but I would say there was a reason for the reduced powder load, and with reduced velocity. So I would venture to say that there a pressure increases from the differences with the twist increase.
The current Sierra manual is #6. Is this the one your speaking of?

Good. I find it strange about the differences. I wish the publisher would shed light on the disparities.

I've noticed erroneous information in Sierra V6, called them to confirm. Their answer was essentially, thanks, we know they're there. We're not perfect, have a good day.
So that started me into verifying multiple sources of load data as I should have been doing anyway.

Yeah. you'd think they'd get off their duffs, fix the mistakes, send out an update.....and maybe make some bullets to get on the shelves.🙄
