What bushing size for 7 saum?

Yeah you're on the right track. 314 is my main, .312 is my backup for do overs on dents or ones I didn't turn correctly. When I got my brass from gunwerks the necks were massively thick, I don't know if that's a thing with regular adg stuff but I couldn't chamber a loaded case. I forget how bad it was, like .015-6 thick.

Anyway you got it. I actually went with a hornady bushing die at the time because it's all there was out there and it's been fantastic, absolutely beautiful. And I got the forster micrometer seater, have been very happy with that.

.015 isnt extreme for adg, never had a problem chambering or had to turn necks. Sounds like maybe you've got a tight neck

Not sure all will agree, but either use an expanding mandrel OR bushing not both…unless the neck has been deformed (oval).

Using both the mandrel and bushing may depend on which dies you use. SAC decapping/expanding mandrel is made to work with one of their bushings. If using the mandrel, they suggested getting the bushing something like 0.002 smaller than you'd normally use so that the mandrel is sure to expand the neck.
For my 7 PRC, I can run 0.311 neck/shoulder bushing with the decapping mandrel but it takes a lot of case lube for both ADG and Peterson brass. I think 0.312 might work better with the mandrel and not work the brass as much.

May have misspoken then, been 4.5 years . it's saami, measured. I knew someone was going to bring it up like I hadn't ever thought of that. Turned one down til it chambered then took off another thou or so. Nosler fit fine, but sold that batch to a kid in a bind.
