I have been playing with my chrono today and I at a loss to understand the data I am getting.

I am grouping 3 shots groups in a 5p sized group over 100yds time and time again, yet the ES on the chrono is massive (70), whats happening.

If the groups were all over the shop I would understand the ES and sd being huge, but they arnt, so can anyone explain the results.

The chrono is a Prochrono >>>> Prochrono

Is the chrono busted ???

I've had great 100yrd groups that had huge ES, not really uncommon in my experience, they are the loads that if you don't have a crony you won't know to tweek or eliminate them from your long range program. Looks great till you march them out long range, then the wheels fall of. :D

Is the chrono busted ???

Quite often when I see chronograph users baffled by their data, they are using that brand of chronograph. It may not be busted. That may be as good as they get. I've never owned one of that brand and I don't want to be the sour-puss. But I have seen similar issues posted on this Forum more than once.

There have even been a few that have posted that the best shot they ever fired across their ProChrony was the one they sent through the unit, to put it out of its misery. gun) gun)Turned their ProCrony into a ProCroaky. :)
