you do realize that a 1/2" group at 500 yards divides down to about .050" at 100 yards? Actually much tighter than that when you take in the other factors.

Yep, I do realize that. I can't do that all the time, but I have put together some groups at 100 yards that you have to get the magnifying glass out to tell if there is more than one hole. I am not great a reading wind, but I am hoping with this gun I can be competitive this year at some 1000 yard shoots. once again I am not talking anytime you want accuracy I am talking about good conditions and no rushing just taking my time and printing a tartget.
