Thanks for the replies guy's and this was what I was looking for. Just wanted some recommendations to look at outside the more well known names like Nightforce and Leupold. I will be taking a look at the Kahles and Steiner optics

Also consider Tract Optics, under your $2K budget and as good as any other Tier 2 optic mentioned. I have the TORIC 34mm FFP MIL 4.5-30X56 and am very happy with it, I bought it for target/hunting for 300-1000 yds on my 6.5 Creedmoor. Tracks perfectly.
