Berger Match Hybrid Target 215 gr for Hunting?

Just shoot them and see. If you don't want them I'll buy all of them from ya
Ive shot them
They are accurate
What i havent done is shoot an animal with them
I thought I could ask some of the more experienced hunters for their experience prior to my hunt
Appreciate your offer to buy them

They work great. Mule deer 200 yard neck shot and he hit the ground rather quickly. Elk 330 dropped, and bear at 464 went 60 yards .

It's probably single handily killed more large big game animals in the last few years than any other bullet in the world.

Auadad are a sheep and don't react to a bullet the same way as a whitetail but they arnt that tough. In fact they are quite narrow in the shoulders. Ive killed them with 280, 25-06, 6.5, 243 and 22hornet. Just put your shot in the vitals and they die just like anything else. (Yes I said 22hornet, I watched a ranch owner drop a 32" ram @ 100yds with a hornet)

Im confident a Berger 215 from a 300wm will do the job at any distance you can shoot!
Let us know how the hunt goes
James

My son and I have both used them in 300 wm, 300 wsm and 300 rum on elk from approximately 75 yards to 500 yards nothing at extreme ranges. But one shot and most elk haven't even moved out of their tracks. Have read a lot about checking the ends by using a paper clip or drill bit. I do this, but whether it's really needed or not?????? But why temp fate. All I know for sure is they will really upend an elk. Good luck with your hunt.

I hawked 1k of these bullets on GB not too long ago, the only thing impressive I found about these bullets is what some jackwagon was willing to pay for them, supporterism makes people extremely stupid and I'm always willing to help a fool part with his money

still have 500 pcs and they'll fly on GB at 3x their actual value, like I said.... people are stupid

If you think the prices for bullets are stupid, try buying powder such as H1000 or primers and see what you pay.
Glad that you're able to take advantage of the shortage. Merry Christmas!

Swamplord what is your experience with this bullet to form this opinion. Not a challenge, I'm curious to learn more about this bullet and others experience with them.

Not to many animals can tote this kind of terminal performance. Shot was 290 yards. 215 hybrid from a 30 Nosler.
