Berger 208 LRHT on game

Shot a mule deer this morning 80ish yards he was so close I didn't range him. The berger 220 lrht is working great. Shot him at a angle right behind the front shoulder and came out well most bullet did a few ribs back. The buck traveled maybe 10 yards if that piled up in a tree. I found a lot of bullet frag and a bigger piece by the ribs on exit side. Bigger damage on mule deer than antelope lost some meat on front shoulder. My fault for placement should of been 2 or 3 inches farther back but didn't want to send it out farther on the other side. Next up is bull elk November. I definitely would say closer shots keep off of bone but not worried taking them elk hunting. Great bullet and Don worry about the factory tip they seem to open like crazy
