Berger 156 EOL 6.5 fail?

Almost a year late.
BULLET WORKED! END OF STORY!

I MIGHT try some 150 ABLR in place of the 153.5 LRHT.
Looking for less than .5moa consistently.
And 3000mv.
Anybody been down this road?

What didn't u like about the ablrs and what do u like about the 147. I've got a couple of 6.5 PRCs but I haven't started to mess with many bullets in that cartridge yet

We've shot a few elk with them and they splash on impact up close like nothing I've ever seen, further out the tip barely opens enough for good expansion. All in all they were awfull and resulted in chasing wounded critters..

I've killed like 7 bulls with the 147 and my wife and I have taken over 20 animals with that bullet.
They create terrific wound channels and almost always exit, the only exception was a bull shot at 200 yards center shoulder. He died almost instantly but only got about 10" of penetration with the bone being blown to bits.

Well I've got an update on the 153.5 LRHT to share. Shot a 210-220 lb buck today hard quartering away at about 100yds. No exit but he only made it 60-70 yds.
His torso is quite enlarged, impact velo about 2860.
