Was at sportsmans wearhouse yesterday getting some new arrows and thought I would look at the gun section while I was there. they had a Bergara B14 HMR in .308 there so I thought I would handle it to see what it felt like. I have no interest in a .308 but Bergara's website the rifle comes in .300 win mag. I did a internet search and I can't seem to find one in .300 but maybe later. Anyways The rifle felt like a solid gun with a pretty good trigger actually. Just wondering if anyone on here has one and what your thoughts are on the rifle. looks like a good option for an affordable factory rifle if I could find one in .300WM/

I would git one if I were you, I have the bergara b-14 hunter in 300WM. I have desided that when I git another rifle I am gitting the b-14HMR in 6.5 creedmoor or I mite step up to the bergara preimer HMR pro in 6.5 creedmoor at 100yds my b-14 hunter 300WM is shooting 1/2 moa on my first group with hornandy 180gr sst , I will be shooting it to 500yrds this spring.

Up until I think a week ago they did not have the HMR in anything except .308 and 6.5 creedmoor. I'm very excited to see them introducing it in the .300 win mag.

My b14 hunter in 6.5 has two boxes of 140 ELDM sitting waiting for the scope to show up and let her loose!

Here's a list of available calibers
The B-14 Hunter starts at $825.

If I can eventually get one in .300 then maybe I'll have to get one. Wouldn't mind one in 6 creedmore either.

Hrmm. Again, the 300wm is very desirable. A 26" tube with a 1:10 twist rate, AICS mags, threaded barrel, just buy the brake or can that you like, develop your load, and you most likely have a good shooting rifle. Also, if the stock is good enough, we know the action is, it might even be a good donor rifle for a 28 Nosler or what have you.

I have one in a 6.5 creedmore. I have not started load work up yet. Shot over 100 Hornady 143 ELD-X out of it. Very impressed. It will consistently put 3 in under .5 inch. Have only taken it out to 888 yards but was making 1st round hits on 1 moa rocks.

I too have the 6.5 CM...love it. My trigger is crazy good slightly under 2lbs from factory. Tried 3 factory loads all 3 were less than MOA the 142LR AB .4 moa. Right now working up 143 ELDx with RL26 its loving 47.8 gr at 2835fps. Heck of a gun for the money.
