Very nice to shoot and great terminal ballistics as well. Have taken a few deer and a bull moose so far up here in Canada.

Total weight of rifle and Leupold M5 7-35 at 10.3lbs

And thats out of a conventional length barrel and very packable rifle weight considering optics and adjustable CP. i am sure very soon the 7mm PRC will be claiming the baddest 7mm in the herd…. Only around 600 fps short.

No, thats a totally different design with much different function goals for that ammo.

I believe their goal is cost savings, weight reduction and in my opinion, requiring customers to buy new ammo for every shot, no reloading brass cases which saves customers money but costs ammo makers sales……. Just my opinion
